Salvador Golez Rosca, professionally known by his artist name Butch Rosca was born on September 14,1980. He is a professional tattoo artist, specializing in Oriental Custom Bodysuits.
Starting at a very young age, Rosca experimented with pens, charcoals and paint brushes. In 1993 he left his hometown Bacolod City and moved to the capital city of The Philippines; Manila. During his high school days he painted portraits and sold them to support himself through high school.
In 2001 Rosca studied Multimedia Arts and Painting at De La Salle University College of Saint Benilde. During this period he saw a future in Henna Tattoos and was able to place a booth at the Manila Bay Walk. Shortly after Rosca got noticed and lived a very colorful life. He graduated from college and handled over 15 Henna Tattoo Artists.
Around 2006 the Manila Bay Walk got shot down for some political reasons. This is where Rosca showed interest in permanent tattooing and first picked up a tattoo machine. Close friends and neighbours offered him their skins to practice his art on. Rosca has honed his skills dramatically since.
